About the reporter

Jackson Wilde is a student of journalism at Utah State University. He graduated from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2011 where he studied audio engineering. He is an musician of several years, which consequently makes him a snob who hates your boyfriend’s band and hairdo.

Jackson grew up in an oil town in eastern Utah, but his gusher never came in. His time spent in the oil field made him fluent in the language of rednecks and painfully aware of the dangers of methamphetamine use. He has a touch of granola in him, and therefore values nature. He enjoys fishing, and taking in the majesty of the beautiful trout. He likes picking up heavy things, and putting them back down.
